Not everybody has that lust for achieving new knowlegde. For some of the people is very hard to get to remember what they just read a couple of minutes ago. So here are some hints to make this process a lot more easier.
First of all never try to study while laying down in bed. It will make anyone sleep even if it is morning, evening or whatever. Never ever lay down and try to read for an exam. Not even an interesting book. Only if you need sleep therapy try this stuff. An unconfortable chair is all you need. Or an armchair but don`t get too cousy in there. Another important rules are somethinglike this: not too hot or too cold in the room (try to get the right temperature for your body and spirit), no distractions like music (too loud or involving lines that you would love to sing) and try to be alone in that room
And here are some tehniques to make the neurons remember all the formulas, quotes and poetry that we might never need or use in this lifetime. When reading the stuff try to read it once loud and then close the source and see if you understood anything. Try to explain it to yourself and then you might read it again and try to explain like you are the teacher. If you are brave enough a mirror is really magical. Use it to speak n front of it and try not to break it if you don`t remeber all of that complicated lesson.
Here I might add that if you are very very tired or really don`t feel like reading, writing or solving something, don`t bother. It will not work and it will give you headackes for sure. Take a break (even if you didn`t do anything for that day-you are still allowed to have a break) and when you feel like study just go for it. Also you might be aware of the moment that you feel like studying. Some of us love to study in the morning when the mind and the body is fresh. If that is not the right moment for you, don`t worry. In the night, when everything is so peacefull and quiet your thirst of science will wake up.
